You can contact the Benefit Enquiry Line for a claim form and advice on how to fill it in. You can contact these numbers between 8.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday and Between 9.00am and 1.00pm on Saturdays.

Carer’s Allowance

If your child is eligible for Disability Living Allowance, you may be able to claim Carer’s Allowance. You can also apply for Disability Living Allowance on-line.

The Family Fund

The Family Fund provides grants to families with severely disabled or seriously ill children;

Newlife

Financial help for disabled children, they can provide grants for equipment that is essential & disability relevant such as a bed, large buggy’s, wheelchairs etc.

REACT

Helping children with life limiting illnesses – can supply a wide range of equipment from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths, and mobility aids, to essential everyday items like washing machines and tumble dryers.

React also has a number of holiday homes around the UK available for use by families. Contact them for application form.

Warm Front

Warm Front makes homes warmer, healthier & more energy efficient. The warm front scheme offers a package of heating & insulation improvements up to the value of £3,500. There are criteria to meet for the grant, i.e. be in receipt of DLA.
