WELL DONE GIRLS FOR RAISING A FANTASTIC AMOUNT OF £3634.53.
We are doing a skydive for ‘the Families of Ocean Ward’ which is the children’s heart unit at Southampton General Hospital.
Kaci was born with a rare heart condition called ANOMALOUS PULMONARY VEINS DRAINAGE (TAPVD) she underwent major open heart surgery at 3 weeks old to repair the veins in her heart. Kaci has since then made a full recovery thanks to P.I.C.U and the Ocean ward for looking after her.
Elodie-rose was diagnosed with a VENTRICULAR SEPTAL DEFECT when 2 days old and is still receiving treatment with surgery a possibility in near future.
The funds that we are raising will help to assist families during long stays on ocean ward by way of hardship payment. Where needed they are able to purchase essential equipment to assist families caring for their child at home .
( the skydive date is yet to be confirmed )
